Delivery
Q: How long does it take from the time an order is placed till we receive it in the store?
A: We have implemented a delivery schedule (please see below). The purpose is to provide you and your customers with more certainty and predictability.
Date of Order    Date of Delivery
20th-5th                15th-20th
6th-21st                 1st-5th
Date of Order is defined as the date an order is received by us.
Date of Delivery is the date we send out the package that contains the items you ordered.
If the Date of Order falls between the 20th and 5th, we will send out your package between the 15th and 20th.
If the Date of Order falls between the 6th and 21st, we will send out your package between the 1st and the 5th.
This schedule is based on the assumption of normal shipping schedule at the third party (USPS, UPS, Fedex, DHL, etc.). During the holidays, there may be slight delay, which we have no control of. In this case, we will do our best to inform you in advance.
Q: What if we need our order faster?
A: We offer an Express Service for a fee of $45. That guarantees a delivery within 10 days.
Q: What method of shipping do you use?
A: If not specified, by default we use United States Postal Service Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Most of our customers would like to pay as little shipping cost as possible. We have found USPS Priority Mail to be the most reasonably priced and reliable shipping choice. We can also use UPS and Federal Express, if customer prefers.
Q: Why are some items are marked ‘backorder’ on our invoice?
A: All orders are custom made by hand. When an item is marked ‘backorder’, it is because we have run out of one or more of the parts required to make the item. This could be a specific type of pearls, a specific color of pearls, or a finding. ‘Backorder’ items are usually delivered in the next delivery period, or as soon as we can obtain the parts.
Q: Who pays for the shipping cost of backorder items?
A: We do.
